TERRIFIC mattifying powderFeb 28, 2010 I tried this powder when I stopped in at a hair-styling school while on vacation. I loved it immediately and bought a container. It holds baby-fine hair and gives it body and control. I love it so much that I ordered the tri-pack from Amazon to be sure I don't run out. It only takes a LITTLE bit, so be sure you don't over-dust! Now when I pull off my cowboy hat, I just fluff my hair with my fingers and it goes right back into a manageable hold instead of laying flat and mashed on my head!
amazingFeb 17, 2010 this is amazing! just a small sprinkle of this powder and I can give my limp fine hair a lift that lasts all day! Hairsprays, gels ect all give out and cause my hair to lay flat after a few hours but this dosent. it is alot like having a back comb that you can brush through and sleep on, I have very thin hair and after I use this you would never know it! I found this at a small but trendy salon, the stylist recomended it. Its much cheaper here on the net.

DoctorJayFeb 07, 2010 My hair is jaw length, very fine and thinning. Aveda used to have a texturizing/sprinkles product, but this powder by OSIS is much better and less expensive. My hairdresser recommended it to me.
I section off a 2-3" area and holding the hair up, "poof out" (by quickly squeezing the bottle) 1 or 2 "poofs" a few inches from the scalp onto the hair, and then lightly (1-2 times) backcomb the section. I never apply the product directly to my scalp. The texture is immediate and will help your hairstyle last longer. Try it. I found it amazing and use it everytime I wash my hair.

LIBERATING!Feb 01, 2010 This product has liberated me from crunchy hairsprays, gooey gels and useless lotions. It's different than ANYTHING you have ever used. I'm not going to fool you, if you want to be able to run your fingers through your hair (or even a brush) this isn't the product for you. If you have short hair that lies flat and lifeless you will love Dust It. Even you if get caught in a rain storm just scrunch and fluff as it dries and it bounces right back. My challenge was to look good when I take off my motorcycle helmet - I just rough up my hair with my fingers and I'm good to go! This product is fabulous!
I too love this stuff!Feb 01, 2010 I sprinkle it on my (cough) Pattinson-length hair at the roots and then put my fingers on my scalp and rub. It really gives me a ton of volume, which is great now that I need a haircut. I like the pouffy look it gives me. However, it is IMPOSSIBLE to wash out! Yesterday I shampooed with Matrix Biolage Hydrating shampoo, and it didn't even lather up, just felt like I was adding water to my hair. After I let it air dry, it was still sticky, so I washed it with Redken All Soft. Still sticky. Went to the salon and bought some Paul Mitchell clarifying shampoo (because they didn't have any Osis shampoos there). Still sticky after 3x lather-rinse-repeat! I have emailed the manufacturers to find out the best method for removing it, and will edit this review if I get a response. But yeah, I can get 2-3 extra days of hairstyle out of one application (so, 4-5 days without having to wash and restyle).
